Something’s been changing over the past decade. From what used to be a small niche of events known only in the underground, festivals have now exploded in popularity here in North America. Something has caught on, and people love it.
Nationwide, people are being introduced to a whole new world of interesting style, and the venues to express themselves as uniquely as they’ve always wanted to. It’s a free-form theatrical stage, and the individual is the actor. We, along with many others, have fallen in love with the weird, the unique and the interesting. Perhaps the disconnection we have as human beings to one-another because of modern technology has left us lacking something special – some special social need that people are able to rediscover in festival environments and coming together.
Over the years, we’ve found limitless talent with the people who craft and create. It’s these people who decide to do something different and create a unique product out of passion and joy. It’s these very same people we’ve set out to help, and in doing so, finding great satisfaction and success.
We have identified and are tracking over 500 festivals in North America alone, ranging from electronic to transformational, rock to bluegrass, it’s all there with more on their way every year. As the festival culture expands into a much wider audience, so too must the crafter and the artist to match these demands. Everyday more festivals are appearing, and every day more people are connecting in new ways.
Our mission is simple: help connect the talented artists to their massively expanding audience. At a festival, only so many people can browse an artist’s selection, which is confined within their booth. All too often I hear the words “$*&@, I wish I’d gotten that [insert here], I can never find this awesome stuff online.” Enter Banyan Enterprises.
We are looking past this traditional way to do business and gazing at the stars. We must leverage the power of the internet through sales channels such as our own marketplace Roachclip.com as well as Ebay, Amazon, Etsy, Google Products, comparison sites, and others. The more fun people we can bring cool products to, and the more the crafter is able to create, the happier we are.
